I Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun kan du samle Japan og invadere Korea.
I tillegg til den ferske annonseringen av Soviet Corps, har strategiutgiveren Slitherine røpet at de vil gi ut et turbasert strategispill ved navn Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun. Dette spillet sender oss tilbake til femtenhundretallet, der Japan er i full borgerkrig mens det koreanske Joseon-dynastiet er paralysert av intriger i hoffet. I Kina sliter Ming-dynastiet med opprør og ytre press.
Dermed ligger alt til rette for en storkrig som involverer alle tre nasjonene. Spillets hovedfokus er den japanske borgerkrigen (Sengoku Jidai) og invasjonen av Korea (Imjin-krigen), der kineserne også blandet seg inn.
